  • One cup white vinegar.
  • One cup of household ammonia.
  • Half cup of baking soda.

This solution is very effective against greasy areas. You can use a spray bottle to apply the solution around your kitchen.

Vinegar Powder. Create a powder by mixing half cup baking soda with ¼ cup of vinegar. Apply and scrub the surfaces with the powder. Leave the powder on the surface for at least 30 minutes and then wash it with warm water.

Vinegar with water. A simple water and vinegar solution (in equal amount) is also very effective to clean appliances like fridge and microwave.

Vinegar for Dish Washing. Vinegar can also add shine to your dishes. A ¼ cup of vinegar in the dishwater can cut the grease on dishes and facilitates cleansing.

Other Uses of Vinegar. You can also add ¼ cup of vinegar into a solution of hot water for soaking plastic items like ice cube trays and food containers. After cooking, you can also pour a little amount of vinegar on a hot pen to remove smelly odors.

Note: Always apply vinegar with your hands protected by gloves.
